The multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger Itiberê Zwarg has been developing his authorial work since 1999, when he created the Oficina de Música Universal.

Música Universal was the term coined by Hermeto Pascoal, in whose group Itiberê has been playing since 1977, to describe a music that, without prejudice, encompasses all styles, values, elements from the Brazilian musical tradition and from various parts of the world, and goes beyond the barrier between erudite and popular music.
